Hello, I'm Cathie...
Welcome to my website. I offer counselling, psychotherapy and clinical supervision in Glasgow. I also work on Skype and telephone with clients who are unable to attend regular face to face sessions.
Particularly now during the COVID-19 pandemic, I imagine that even clients who didn’t previously experience much anxiety are struggling to keep anxious thoughts in check. Consider whether talking to a professional may help you learn how to live with more ease through these difficult times.
I've built a respected track record over 18 years working with clients in a variety of therapeutic settings, including the NHS, social services, counselling agencies, education and business - helping people get to know themselves better, making possible the lasting changes they want.

Within these broad areas, many clients also come to therapy particularly suffering from one or more of the following: depression, anxiety, or feeling just lost. They may have experienced trauma and abuse, or feel they cant stop the unhelpful cycle of addiction. Often the loss of a friend or relative, or a lifelong career makes it suddenly impossible to cope. I work with all these areas and many more, and invite you to begin the process of talking through what may be bothering you, and to make the changes that you want.
I'm committed to offering therapy in a safe, confidential and non judgemental environment. Therapy sessions are offered on an open-ended basis, or for an agreed period of time. My aim is simply to work with you in whatever way helps without undermining your inner authority or dignity.
I also provide individual supervision to those working in the counselling, psychotherapy and other caring professions.
My practice is based in the West End of Glasgow. easily accessible by car, train or subway. Further directions can be found at Cost and contact.
